Patent Transactional Attorney
Our firm is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Intellectual Property (Patent) Transactions Attorney to join our expanding IP practice. Key Responsibilities:
- Advise clients on patent acquisition, licensing, and technology transfer transactions.
- Draft, review, and negotiate complex IP-related contracts including assignments, licenses, joint ventures, and development agreements.
- Conduct due diligence and risk assessments for M&A and investment deals involving IP portfolios.
- Collaborate with cross-practice teams to align IP strategy with business and commercial goals.
- Provide legal insight on patent law, ownership, and protection strategies.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Admission to at least one U.S. state bar; eligibility for prompt admission to others.
- Strong background in patent law , with a focus on transactional matters .
- 3+ years of experience in IP transactions , including licensing, acquisitions, or related commercial agreements.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
