Join the team at Greenville County Aquatic Complex, a community-focused facility dedicated to promoting health, fitness, and fun through water-based activities. We are currently seeking a Lifeguard to ensure the safety and well-being of our patrons. This role involves supervising swimmers, enforcing rules and regulations, assisting in swim lesson instruction, and maintaining the cleanliness of our facility. Responsibilities
- Supervise swimmers and enforce facility rules and regulations to ensure patron safety.
- Assist in swim lesson instruction as assigned.
- Perform general facility cleaning tasks, including removing debris from the pool, cleaning restrooms, and maintaining other public areas.
- Stock restrooms with necessary supplies.
- Receive and respond effectively to inquiries, concerns, complaints, and requests for assistance from patrons or other staff members.
Qualifications
- Must be 15 years of age or older.
- Must possess or be willing to obtain Starguard Lifeguard certification.
- Swim Instructor certification is a plus but not required.
Compensation
The starting pay rate for this position is $12.98/hour .
