Green Island Grocery is looking for part-time and full-time Grocery Clerks . We are looking for a reliable, energetic, and customer-focused Grocery Clerk to join our team. This role supports multiple departments including Produce, Frozen, Dry Foods, Wine & Beer, and Dairy. If you're dependable, customer-friendly, and enjoy a fast-paced retail environment, we’d love to have you on our team!
Pay: Starting at $12/hour, based on experience

The right candidate will have:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Frequent lifting, bending, stooping, and reaching
- Comfortable working in refrigerated and freezer environments
- Capable of pushing/pulling carts, pallets, and U-boats
Our Grocery Clerk will:
- Stock and rotate merchandise in Produce, Frozen, Dry Foods, Wine & Beer, and Dairy sections
- Ensure shelves are clean, organized, and well-stocked
- Assist customers with product inquiries and location guidance
- Monitor product freshness and remove expired or damaged items
- Receive deliveries and verify inventory accuracy
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in all assigned areas
- Support other departments as needed and assist with store opening/closing procedures
