Careerscape is hiring for a Rapid City construction company that needs skilled Equipment Operators to run excavators, dozers, and loaders on commercial and residential projects. You'll operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently throughout the Black Hills region.

Responsibilities
- Operate excavators, bulldozers, loaders, and other heavy equipment
- Perform site grading and excavation work
- Load and move materials efficiently
- Conduct pre-operation equipment inspections
- Follow site plans and grade stakes accurately
- Maintain safe work practices on job sites
- Perform basic equipment maintenance and greasing
- Communicate with foremen and other crew members
- Keep equipment clean and report mechanical issues
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2-4 years of heavy equipment operating experience
- Proficiency operating excavators and loaders
- Ability to read grade stakes and site plans
- Valid driver license, CDL preferred
- Good depth perception and hand eye coordination
- Physical ability to climb on and off equipment
- Understanding of construction safety practices
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
