About Us

SK Design Group is a multidisciplinary consulting firm based in Pittsfield, MA, providing civil engineering, structural engineering, land surveying, environmental, permitting, and building design services throughout Western Massachusetts and the Berkshires. We are seeking an entry-level Draftsperson to join our growing team.

Position Summary
The Draftsperson will assist our building design and engineering staff in preparing drawings, details, and documentation for residential, commercial, and municipal projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional interested in building design and construction.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed drawings and construction documents under the supervision of senior staff
• Draft plans, elevations, sections, and details for residential and light commercial projects
• Coordinate drawings with civil and structural engineering teams
• Assist in preparing permit and construction packages
• Maintain drawing organization and company drafting standards

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or technical certificate in Drafting, Building Technology, or related field (Bachelor’s a plus)
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit required
• Basic understanding of building construction methods
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
• Good communication and teamwork skills

Schedule:

• Full-time, Monday to Friday
• On-site in Pittsfield, MA
