A Caring Hand at Home LLC is currently seeking compassionate, dependable Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) with 5 years of dementia experience to join our team in Tupelo, Mississippi. As an In-Home Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing essential care and support to individuals in the comfort of their own homes.
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide companionship, emotional support, and engage clients in meaningful activities.
- Help with light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation to ensure a clean and healthy environment.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments and outings, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Monitor clients' health and behavior, reporting any changes to the appropriate personnel.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of evidence-based care-giving practices and techniques.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to establish rapport with clients and their families.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect clients' privacy at all times.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor to provide comfort and support to those in need.
- Certification in CPR, First Aid, and CNA to ensure the safety and well-being of clients.
Benefits:
- Competitive compensation of $12 - $15 per hour.
- Part-time job type with expected hours of 20 - 40 per week.
- Flexible schedule with 8 to 12-hour shifts, day shifts, and occasional weekend rotations.
