The Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) is responsible for providing skilled rehabilitation services to patients in accordance with the Plan of Treatment and under the direct supervision and direction of a Occupational Therapist. He / she administers comprehensive Occupational therapy modalities/regimens to clients in their place of residence for the purpose of developing and restoring function through rehabilitative Occupational therapy as prescribed by a physician.
