Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Carpenter for a temporary full-time position on an exterior single-story remodel project at Ft. Hood . This role focuses on aluminum framing systems (not wood) and supporting the installation of a new curtain wall system , working closely alongside experienced glaziers.
Position Overview
- Assist with removal and installation of aluminum curtain wall systems
- Work directly with glaziers during glass installation
- Help maneuver and set glass panels weighing up to 200 lbs (with proper equipment and team support)
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Follow all jobsite safety and access protocols
Required Qualifications
- Carpentry or related construction experience (aluminum framing experience preferred)
- Ability to safely assist with heavy material handling
- Clean background required for Ft. Hood jobsite access
- Punctual and dependable
- Comfortable using a mobile phone to clock in and out
- Must provide own PPE (hard hat, boots, safety glasses, etc.)
Preferred (Plus) Qualifications
- 4-Hour Safety / Fall Protection Certification
Schedule
- Monday – Thursday
- 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM (Evening/Night Shift)
Compensation & Benefits
- Starting pay: $22/hour
- Hotel provided
