Job Description
FUNCTION
Reporting to the Director of Operations , the incumbent will be responsible for recruiting and enrolling students in LearnMore, assisting t he RNPD and Faculty Instructors in completing required forms, and informing students about the examination scheduling process and career opportunities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for answering telephone calls, responding to inquiries, recruiting, and enrolling students in desired courses.
- Conduct outreach to promote LearnMore through various channels, including presentations and other relevant platforms.
- Responsible for assisting students and faculty in completing forms, preparing distribution materials, copying, and mailing documents.
- Responsible for providing case management for program participants.
- Maintain accurate and complete records of important documents and data.
- Responsible for informing students about the orientation and examination-scheduling process.
- Assist students with preparing for proficiency exams.
- Responsible for providing case management and career counseling services to students.
- Responsible for providing excellent customer service.
- Responsible for performing other duties as may be assigned by the Director of Operations .
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Willingness to support and promote the NSDI and LearnMore mission and vision.
- willingness to follow all policies, procedures, and protocols of NSDI.
- Possess a professional demeanor.
- Possess at least a bachelor’s degree.
- Have at least three years’ experience supporting students in a vocational training program or other educational settings.
- Possess excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Be exceptionally organized and detail-oriented.
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Ability to function independently and to work effectively and in a collegial manner with co-workers and program participants
- Must be a motivated self-starter able to work effectively with limited supervision
- Adhere to confidentiality mandates and professional conduct
- Ability to present information to different age groups and diverse populations effectively
- Proficient computer skills and in-depth knowledge of relevant software such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Office, as well as a general understanding of database and reporting systems
WORKING CONDITIONS, JOB SETTING, and COMPENSATION
- Full-time, non-exempt – 40 hours/week; Compensation range is $24 - $26 hourly.
- Work will be performed in community settings, remotely, and at NSDI headquarters in an office setting. It requires electronic equipment, including a computer, telephone, etc.
- Flexibility in schedule, including scheduled weekends, when necessary.
- Visual/hearing ability sufficient to comprehend written/verbal and telephone communication. Ability to sit for long periods, stand, use a computer, walk, repeatedly bend, lift and carry up to 20 lbs, and reach.

- The position includes domestic travel to meet with partners and stakeholders.
